Attitude featured Yasmin Benoit on their front cover, becoming the first magazine in the UK to feature a cover image of an asexual woman.

Benoit, a model and asexual activist, is pictured alongside other LGBT activists for Attitude’s January issue titled “The Activists and Allies Issue,” The Independent reported.

“[This] is a testament to our society’s growing interest in asexuality, my work, and the LGBT community’s increased inclusiveness in spite of debates about whether we should be included or not,” Benoit told The Independent. “To be the first person to achieve it makes me feel like all of the hard work I’ve been doing is paying off. It’s an honour and a responsibility I’m proud to take on!”

Attitude has in the past featured people such as RuPaul and Prince William on its cover, The Independent reported.
