  • Trans Talk: My Meta Experience

In May 2018, I had a hysterectomy and a metoidioplasty. It was one 6.5 hour surgery with three different surgeons. I often look around me and feel so incredibly blessed and grateful for my life. This hasn’t always been the case, but life has just gotten better and better and I’m so lucky to lead the life I do.

  • TransTalk: Haircuts and Barbershops as a Trans Person

Hair is an important part of the way someone presents to the world. A haircut can say a lot about someone, whether you want to appear professional maybe carefree, or predictable, hip and trendy, etc. Socially, hair can also say a lot about someone’s gender.

My name is Atticus and I’m an alcoholic. I’m 4 and a half years sober. When I hit my bottom, I was pulled over by the police, kicked out of my apartment, and my girlfriend broke with me.

  • TransTalk: You Don’t Have to be Around People Who Don’t Accept You

This year is the year I start accepting the love I deserve, and that means letting go of a lot of people who don’t love and accept me.
