  • Oh, yes. The sense of isolation I felt as a Black woman at #NN15 was amplified by biphobia, both external and internal. When I introduced Jennicet Eva Gutiérrez at the #QPOCNN15 caucus I co-organized, I mentioned that multiple people had asked me whether I would go to the White House and be disruptive, to which I told them, "what makes you think I haven't?"

  • What’s one story this week you’d like to highlight?  SFGN’s “Speak OUT” is a weekly feature giving a regular voice to South Florida LGBT leaders.Below are some of their answers:

  • The eighth Annual International Gay Polo Tournament takes place at the International Polo Club Palm Beach located at 3667 120th Avenue in South Wellington Saturday, April 8. The polo players and those regulars who come out to watch the tournament every year are planning the best version of the event yet, and it’s not too late get in on the fun, even if you don’t know the first thing about Polo. 

  • Wellington is known for being a magical city to live and work. In 2010 and 2019, they were awarded Money Magazine’s Top 100 places to live. Wellington is also home to the Gay Polo Tournament, last hosted in 2019.  

  • Palm Beach County ushered in another successful LGBT event at the end of March with the 11th annual Lexus International Gay Polo Tournament, hosted by the Gay Polo League (GPL).
