After landing top honors for a big screen drama at the Golden Globe Awards, “Moonlight,” the melancholy drama about a gay African-American man in Miami’s gritty Liberty City neighborhood, was named film of the year last week by the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA).

GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics recently announced the winners of the 14th Dorian Film Awards, named in homage to Oscar Wilde’s novel, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”

“Pose,” “I May Destroy You” and “Hacks” were among the big winners at GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics’ Dorian TV Awards, which were awarded Sunday night on Here TV and YouTube’s PlanetOut.
