It didn't take long for the Westboro Baptist Church to capitalize on the tragedy that occurred in Paris Friday.

Members of the "God Hates Fags" church took to social media this weekend, blaming the attacks in France's capital, where at least 129 people died and hundreds more were injured, on the legalization of "fag marriage," Gay Star News reports.

Nevertheless, ISIS has taken responsibility for the attacks, and France's president Francois Hollande also blamed the terror group. But the WBC took to Twitter on Nov. 14, claiming the 2013 legalization of same-sex marriage in France is the cause of the deadly attacks.

Members of the WBC are pledging they will travel to Paris to protest and hold their "God Hates Fags" signage.

"What do we say to this lying, malicious comparison of our gentle pickets to the violence of ISIS?" the group wrote. "First - and foremost - Thank God!"

They went on to say: "The wrath to which these pernicious 'talking heads' hope to expose the humble, peaceful servants of Christ at WBC, is impotent in fact. We know that God moves in every man to act in accordance with His perfect will. This includes the violent monsters of ISIS, as the wicked propagandists within today's "media." All of them are filled with violence - which is fitting for a world that sits literally on the verge of destruction."
