A terrorism watchdog group took to social media this week and posted photos and claimed the Islamic militant group ISIS stoned two men they accused of being gay.
The incident occurred in Aleppo, Syria, LGBTQ Nation reports. Aleppo is the largest city in the country and according to the International Business Times, ISIS recently took control over a major checkpoint in the city.
Terror Monitor, which posted the images, posted graphic images of the stoning, which can be viewed by clicking here (NSFW and very disturbing).
The latest incident comes after EDGE reported Monday that ISIS killed two men earlier this month by throwing them off a roof. They were also accused of being gay.
"Daesh accuses people of being gay only on basis of some superficial information without any investigation," civil rights activist Raed Ahmed told ARA News at the time of the Oct. 5 execution.
