An LGBT group in Argentina demands a blanket vaccination for monkeypox, and a TikToker was arrested in Saudi Arabia for alleged lesbian undertones.
LGBT Group In Argentina Wants Blanket Vaccination for Monkeypox
The Argentine LGBT+ Federation has petitioned the government's health agencies to start a statewide campaign to vaccinate everyone against monkeypox.
The organization demanded that medical professionals have the required training on how to recognize the illness.
The federation then demanded that preventive efforts "free of stigmatizing messages towards LGBT+ people" be carried out. Nearly all monkeypox cases, according to studies from the World Health Organization (WHO) and other top scientific organizations, have been discovered in "men who have sex with men."
“We ask the Minister of Health of the Nation, Carla Vizzotti, that the Ministry initiates a vaccination campaign and incorporates the smallpox vaccine in the vaccination calendar, launching its production in the country,” Flavia Massenzio, president of the Argentine LGBT+ Federation, said to MacroPress.

Egyptian TikToker Tala Safwan, who lives in Saudi Arabia, was detained in Riyadh after outrage over a video that was seen to be sexually provocative and to have "lesbian undertones" circulated.
She asks another young lady to visit her at her Riyadh home, claiming that "everyone will be asleep" and "no one will hear her scream," in the video, which was first streamed live on her TikTok account.
A Riyadh resident "who appeared in a broadcast talking to another woman with sexual content and suggestiveness that could have a negative impact on public morality" was detained, according to police and Egyptian Streets.
The statement omitted Safwan's name, but it did provide a snippet of the disputed video with Safwan's friend's face obscured.
Unknown is the background of the conversation on the video, and Safwan disputes that she intended for there to be any sexual undertones.
