Pink Sub and FabScout will be giving away their last free meals tonight in front of Johnsons at 6 p.m. on Wilton Drive.

Dawn Hollaway, owner of Pink Sub, and Howard Andrew, owner of FabScout Entertainment have worked together for the last 15 weeks providing 50 meals two to three times each week. They’ve given away more than 1,700 so far.

Tonight’s meal will be meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. Holloway and Andrew started the giveaways to support the out of work employees of the service industry.

“Wow it’s been an amazing 15 Weeks Wilton Manors [...] but our time has come to an end,” Andrew said on Facebook. “We will end where we started — in the parking lot at Johnsons. Let’s all move forward and build a stronger, loving community.  We tried.”

Holloway said now that businesses are starting to reopen again it’s a good time to call it quits.

Most of the giveaways were hosted in front of Hunter’s Nightclub.

“Bruce Howe and Mark Hunter from Hunter’s ... We Thank you from our hearts,” Andrew noted. Holloway added, “Bruce Howe has been amazing with helping me.”

Tonight’s event will be hosted by Velvet Lenore.

“One thing I can do is feed people as I’ve always done. The community has always supported me and I wanna cook for them,” Holloway previously said. “They have waited on all of us. Put up with our shit. It’s time to take care of them. This was not their choice to not be able to work.”
