Deputies were called to the 7-Eleven at 600 E. Oakland Park Blvd. about 12:20 a.m., according to Sgt. Donald Prichard.
There have been no arrests. Prichard said everyone involved in the incident remained at the scene and were being interviewed by detectives.
The identity of the man who died has not been released and investigators did not disclose the nature of the dispute.
