A Wilton Manors man is missing and help is needed to bring him home.
Dr. James Doan, 69, disappeared Monday evening, Jan. 30, said his husband, Brad Zuckerman. Doan left the couple’s Wilton Manors home depressed without his phone, with no money and contemplating suicide, said Zuckerman.
“He’s had a couple of mental health issues recently,” Zuckerman said.
Zuckerman said Doan, a humanities professor at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, is not a danger to anyone but himself.
“Everybody loves him,” Zuckerman said.
Doan is a 5-foot-10, 150-pound white male with short salt and pepper hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve button-down teal/turquoise shirt with black jeans and new bright white sneakers.
If you see Doan, please contact Zuckerman at (954) 305-0942 or the Wilton Manors Police Department at (954) 390-2150.
A spokesperson for WMPD said a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) has been issued across South Florida.
