October 11 is National Coming Out Day, and to celebrate ABC is re-releasing its digital talk series “All My Gay Friends Are Getting Married,” hosted by TV personality and comedian Michelle Collins.
“This show welcomes some truly inspirational couples on to learn about their fabulous wedding days — some of which are jaw-dropping — as well as find out their own journeys, individually and as couples,” Collins said in a press release.
Along with the relaunch, there will be a social media campaign all about the power of love and the celebration of life, according to the release. There will also be three never-before released videos included about “coming out, finding love and the Proposition 8 ruling.”
The fanciful weddings feature celebrity guests, touching parental speeches and religious stories, and even a unicorn.
The new talk-hybrid show celebrates life, love and legal marriage and explores couples’ emotional backgrounds as they share stories of coming out to their families and their excitement for the legalization of same-sex marriage.
The show will be available October 11 and will be released exclusively on the ABC App, available on most devices.
