Venice Pride is coming to blow away the Gulf Coast with good eats, concerts, parades, and even furry critters.

Moxy Stardust Concert

On June 3 from 7-9 p.m., the band Moxy Stardust will be performing at Downtown Venice, West Venice Avenue, in the Gazebo within Centennial Park. Moxy Stardust encompasses several local musicians who ironically met through an open mic. They sing various songs, including covers from famous artists Dua Lipa, The Beatles, etc. They offer a little something for everyone to enjoy. Their main singer Brittany is a proud member of the LGBT community, and the band loves supporting the community with their performances.

TASTE of PRIDE

Project Pride SRQ and Venice Pride, Inc. host their third annual Taste of Pride. The event entails giving participants a “Taste of Pride Passport” to visit as many LGBT-friendly businesses as possible. Businesses on the Taste of Pride tour will offer a significant discount or unique that is more significant than their standard offers to give back to the community. Businesses will be offering all sorts of limited-time rainbow items ranging from rainbow bagels, salads, cocktails and more. Besides enjoying an assortment of delicious eats, participants will be able to keep their “passport” to remember their Taste of Pride tour for years to come. The event will last all month.

Car Parade Contest

On June 4, there will be a car Pride parade from 1-2 p.m. The parade will occur at St Mark’s Episcopal Church (508 Riviera Street, Venice, FL). Decorate your ride in your best pride gear and colors. The Best decorated car wins a prize. Car decorating takes place from 1-1:30 p.m., the car parade occurs from 1:30-2 p.m., and the after-party at the Venice Wine & Coffee Company starts at 2 p.m.
