Lamar Jackson, the quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, has now removed a tweet in which he referred to a fan as a "mf" and used a homophobic slur.

A Twitter user with 293 followers criticized Jackson's performance after the Ravens' dramatic 28-27 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to OutSports, Jackson's tweet was available for three and a half hours before it was taken down. The Ravens and NFL have not yet responded.

Reading through the Twitter responses to Jackson's statement, many people argue that Jackson's use of the phrase "eat dick" was homophobic simply because of its context.

Jackson was calling this fan a "mf" who wasn't masculine enough to play football and stating all he does is "eat dick," which was a rude and humiliating remark. That implies that Jackson intentionally employed the slur of eating dick, which homosexual men have had to deal with for quite a while. Consequently, it is homophobic.
