Rio Olympics Venue Manager Marjorie Enya popped the question to Brazilian rugby player Isadora Cerullo on the pitch, right after Australia won the Women's Gold Medal Rugby Sevens Match.

"As soon as I knew she was in the squad I thought I have to make this special. I know rugby people are amazing and they would embrace it," Enya told the BBC. "She is the love of my life."

Brazil did poorly in the tournament with a 91-3 score within their three matches. They won against Japan 33-5 and landed in ninth place, according to OutSports.

Enya added: "The Olympic Games can look like closure but, for me, it's starting a new life with someone. I wanted to show people that love wins."
