Florida Stagehands & Designs of Wilton Manors have been staging homes since 2009. They are South Florida’s number one home staging company.
Their founder Robert Geary MacKilligan explains, “We give properties the personality that it deserves.”
After the team stages a home, the average time to sell a home is only 47 days.
With 21 years in the real estate industry, MacKilligan explains how pivotal staging is to sell a property at its highest value.
“We source our inventory from furniture companies and designers at local and international levels.”
“When I travel, I like to bring unique furniture and treasures back to South Florida to give our staging a special touch to every property,” he says.
“When my team of designers decides to transition to a newer collection Florida Stagehands sells the current pieces in their retail showroom at highly discounted pricing. It’s affordable furniture shopping and it’s not used; it just sits in a vacant home.”
The company works closely with vacation rentals to furnish for investors at affordable pricing.
MacKilligan notes that, “Alongside the local support from the real estate community, our network of investors has been working with us since our inception. I am also a realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty on Las Olas Boulevard, our design team also works with individual homeowners to help re-design their homes.”
Also, “twice a year we tackle our warehouse and donate items to our local charities, such as Out of the Closet.”
MacKilligan says it feels so good to give back to the community.
“A Staged Home Is A SOLD HOME!”
With his team at Florida Stagehands, Robert MacKilligan believes in supporting the community, providing a seamless staging service and expediting the selling experience.
The retail showroom is located at 1438 NE 26th Street in central Wilton Manors. The hours of operation are Tuesday, through Saturday from noon-5 p.m.
“Come on in to our showroom. You never know what hidden treasures you might find.”
