Two South Florida Democrats have opened campaign accounts to run for Florida House seats next year, according to the state Division of Elections website.

Tamarac Democrat Roxanne Valies opened an account to try to succeed term-limited Rep. Hazel Rogers, D-Lauderdale Lakes, in Broward County's House District 95. Meanwhile, Miami Democrat Robert Asencio opened an account to run in Miami-Dade County's House District 118.

Incumbent Frank Artiles, R-Miami, has opened an account to run for re-election in District 118. Also, Miami Democrat Omar Rivero has opened an account in the district.
