Strike a Pose

Since the 1930s, calendar girls have been an important part of pop culture. Over the years, starlets such as Jayne Mansfield, Marilyn Monroe, and later, Farrah Fawcett and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, graced the pages of calendars hung in gas stations and barber shops. And, as times changed, they were joined by hunky New York City firefighters, Chippendales dancers and even naughty gay Mormon missionaries.

Do you have what it takes to join these illustrious groups? The team at Sidelines Sports Bar certainly hopes so and they’re holding a model search for the popular Wilton Dr. bar’s 2011 sports calendar. Simply show up in your favorite sports attire this Saturday, Sept. 18 or Saturday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. for your shot at fame. There is no compensation for participation.  Proceeds from calendar sales go to charity.  See a Sidelines manager for details and an entry form.
