This weekend the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus will present two evening performances at 8 pm on Friday and Saturday nights at the Lincoln Theatre on Miami Beach. There will not be a matinee performance on Sunday.
The show is called "Destination Holiday" and takes place on a flight to “somewhere.” However, audience members only find out at the end of the concert. The show is premised on two gay dads and their adopted daughter, a lesbian couple about to give birth to their firstborn, an endearing former drag queen from Cuba, a child genius, and a single man with a secret, all of whom are passengers on this fanciful flight.
The Chorus makes up the largest non-rev section in airline history and the audience will be seated in coach (only with a lot more leg room).
Join the chorus on Friday or Saturday but order your tickets online today to be sure you get the seats you want. For an extra holiday treat, the chorus welcomes its special guest, multiple Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Sharon Gless.
If you can’t make it this weekend, the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus will be taking their show on the road, to Key West on the following Sat, Dec 18th at the Instituto San Carlos Theater at 516 Duval Street. That show starts at 7:00PM and the cost is $20.00.
