It’s summertime in South Florida, but it’s about to feel a lot hotter in Key West. The annual Tropical Heat Festival filled with revelry and fun runs August 13-16 in Key West.

The festival offers four days of hot happenings in Key West. The entertaining events range from clothing-optional pool parties, drag shows, snorkeling, swimming and nighttime parties. The heat wave begins Thursday, August 13 at 5:30 p.m., with a kick-off party at Island House Resort. It will be followed by the "Sunset Sail & Splash" with Blu Q, Key West’s longest running all-gay sailing charter. The night's festivities end with a unique show at the 801 Bourbon Bar's cabaret, 801 Duval St. On Friday, paddleboarding and pool parties are on the agenda.

Saturday’s highlights include a guided trolley tour through Key West’s world-famous LGBT community. Among the day's other temptations are on-the-water fun and a pair of nighttime parties for adventurous attendees.

The weekend wraps up some water activities. You can choose from swimming, snorkeling, sunning or simply relaxing on remote sandbars in the Keys' unique backcountry during Blu Q's all-male "Sandbar Sunday." In addition, a pool party is scheduled at Island House.

Tropical Heat VIP access passes are available that offer savings on event admission costs, or attendees can pay individual event admissions. Event information and VIP passes:
