The 16th Annual Easter Bonnet Contest and Benefit will be held to benefit Shadowood II on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 7PM.

Michael Antol and Jason Sapp host the Annual Easter Bonnet Contest and Benefit each year on behalf of Shadowood II, a residential facility offer housing and supportive services to those living with HIV and AIDS. Shadowood II is a life saving agency which also offers dependency and nutrition counseling.

The Annual Easter Bonnet Contest is a fundraiser with 100% of the funds donated going to Shadowood II to support its mission and cause.

Georgie’s Alibi, Bill’s Filling Station and Matty’s on the drive are amongst the lead sponsors of the Easter Bonnet Contest, donating beer and wine to sponsor the good cause.

The community has supported this cause before, and those credited on their website for previous efforts include Tropics Restaurant, Gateway Cinemas, J. Miles Clothing, Sea monster, Blue Dolphin Guesthouse, Morgan Stanley, Voodoo Lounge, Schubert Resort, Scandals, Chic Optic, Rosie’s, Java Boys, and Sidelines.

They are still looking for prizes, items for a silent auction, and food for the buffet. Any help is appreciated. All donations are tax deductible, make checks payable to Shadowood II.
