A fire broke out at H.G. Roosters early Tuesday morning. According to the owner of the iconic LGBT bar in West Palm Beach the main structure is still intact but the back kitchen was destroyed. Nobody was injured.
“It could have been a lot worse,” said owner A.J. Wasson.
According to WFLX smoke could be seen from the roof and back of the building around 2 a.m. Around 40 firefighters showed up to save the bar. Investigators will attempt to determine the cause.
Wasson is already looking to the future.
“We will rebuild,” he said. “We have an outpouring of love from the community."
