As most of the country was in a state of shock and horror over the mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando on Sunday, the Westboro Baptist Church took to Twitter to celebrate, not condemn, the attacks.
As night falls on the #WondrousWorkOfGod #PulseShooting caused by #Faithless fathers, we turn to #FathersDay pic.twitter.com/KeqL1uZT0M

WBC is well known as an anti-gay group who originated the slogan “God Hates Fags.” In 1998 when Matthew Shepard was murdered during an anti-gay hate crime in Wyoming they rose to infamy when they picketed the funeral.
In one tweet they threaten to picket outside of the funerals of the Orlando victims.
We'd be honored to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ outside any funerals of #Pulse victims or Mateen'shttps://t.co/T5lZzvpPNX@hemantmehta
