NEW YORK (AP) — The NYPD is investigating an assault on a 37-year-old man inside a Manhattan subway station as a bias incident.
Police say the assailant punched and kicked the victim in the face while shouting anti-gay slurs.
It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday at the West 50th Street and Broadway subway station.
The suspect remains at large.
The victim was treated at a hospital and released.
