To kick off pride month in June, four organizations are teaming up to stand by Target in support of their LGBT-inclusive policies.

GLAAD, Family Equality Council, Freedom for All Americans and GLSEN are asking the community to take the pledge to Target by visiting their website and sharing with friends and family. Then, on Wednesday, June 1, the organizations encourage people to take a selfie at Target to post on social media and shop at Target locations.

"Recently, Target has come under fire by a small – but loud – group of people who oppose its LGBT-inclusive policies," website reads. "It's time to come together to send a strong and clear message to Target – "Thank you for doing the right thing!"  - as the company stands for equality and acceptance alongside others like Starbucks and Barnes & Noble."

The pledge goal is 7,500 signatures, and is currently at 6,600 total.
