A gay porn star who was arrested in March for extorting a wealthy Republican man out of $500,000 and a car worth nearly $200,000 has been indicted on six new counts, in a last-minute move by the prosecution, according to reports obtained by (NSFW) Str8UpGayPorn.com.

Undercover F.B.I. agents arrested Teofil Brank, who performs in gay porn under the name Jarec Wentworth, on March 4 for extorting Republican multimillionaire Donald Burns. Brank, who has done porn for adult gay sites like Sean Cody and Men.com, was arrested after he allegedly threatened to expose Burns' "sexual liaisons" by posting the information on social media websites, like Twitter.

Brank, 26, successfully blackmailed Burns out of $500,000 in cash and an Audi R8 valued at $180,000. He then demanded the man give him another million dollars as well as a condo - but that's when the Republican turned to the F.B.I. for help.

When Brank was arrested at a sting operation at a Starbucks in Los Angeles, authorities found a loaded .357 magnum revolver and additional ammunition inside the porn star's car.

Brank was initially facing one charge and a maximum of two years in prison, but after an an eleventh-hour move made by prosecutors, he has been indicted on six more counts and faces at least 15-years in prison if found guilty, according to Str8UpGayPorn.

In total Brank is now charged with seven counts, including the original extortion charge. One of the new charges involves the loaded gun the porn actor had in his car, which, according to the website, adds a mandatory minimum of five years to his sentence if he's convicted.

Brank's defense called the prosecution's move "vindictive" and that it violates his right to Due Process. Brank's lawyers have filed a motion to dismiss the new counts.

A hearing on whether this dismissal will be granted is set for May 4.

According to Str8UpGayPorn, Brank has done nearly 70 gay porn scenes since he started in the industry with Sean Cody in 2010.
