NEW YORK (AP) _ Prosecutors have accused two men of killing a New York City floral designer after meeting him for sex at his apartment.

The Daily News ( ) reports Edwin Faulkner and Juan Carlos Martinez-Herrera were arraigned on Sunday.

Prosecutors say the two men met for sex at John Laubach's apartment on March 2. Court records say Faulkner confessed to police that he killed Laubach by choking him.

Court documents say the two men then bound Laubach with electrical cord and duct tape and tied him to his bed. Prosecutors say they stole his computer, some jewelry and an ATM card.

A pawn shop clerk notified police when they tried to pawn the jewelry.
