Two disgruntled concertgoers have served the Queen of Pop with a lawsuit claiming she didn’t take the stage until hours after she was supposed to.
Queens resident Antonio Panos and New Jersey resident Andrew Panos claim they bought tickets to see the “Like a Virgin” at the BAM Opera House as part of Madonna’s small venue theatre tour.
The suit alleges the show was set to kick off at 8:30 p.m. but didn’t actually start until 11:30 p.m. and now the fans say they want relief as an act of contrition by the singer. The pair have filed a class-action suit in Brooklyn Supreme Court against the iconic songstress, along with concert promoter Live Nation, claiming false advertising.
Madonna has long been plagued with complaints of tardiness throughout her career and it looks like her fans have finally had enough. Velotta and Panos are seeking unspecified damages.
