World AIDS Day is the national day when the world pauses to remember those lost to this terrible disease and for a look toward the future. This year is the 30th Anniversary of the disease. There are events happening all over South Florida, including the 4th Annual World AIDS Day Candlelight Walk 2011 in Wilton Manors. This event is to remember all the friends and family that we have lost to HIV/AIDS and a Rally to look toward the future. Leading this year’s candlelight walk which begins at Hagan Park will be Margret Cho, the hilarious stand-up comedian. Come join the whole community on Dec. 1 for this wonderful evening in Wilton Manors.
