A study is being conducted on four different parking options for the old site of the Wilton Manors City Hall.  The four options include a temporary surface parking lot, a permanent surface lot, and a two or three level parking garage. The study will take approximately three weeks, at which time the city commissioners will review all the options and make a decision on how to proceed.

Complaints from business owners and shoppers alike complain that parking on Wilton Drive is inadequate, was inadequate prior to the construction of the new city hall, and is seriously affecting their business.  However, there are many residents who seriously oppose anything but a surface level parking lot.

The preliminary costs for these projects run from $90,000 for the temporary lot, $150,000 for the permanent surface lot, up to $5 million for a 400 space garage.
