Let’s be blunt — women are increasingly consuming cannabis.

Women also use cannabis a lot differently than men. There’s an enormous stigma surrounding pot use for women. That’s why a group of women is coming together for The Vagina Cannalogues.

The Vagina Cannalogues is about de-stigmatizing and educating women about the benefits of cannabis use,” said Angie Willoughby, event co-sponsor and owner of The Green Baker. “Cannabis affects women very differently than it does men. As caretakers, as mothers, a lot of women have the attitude that it’s OK for your husband or boyfriend to smoke, but you're probably not willing to let people know that you consume cannabis. So, there's a lot of things that are very different for the female experience when it comes to cannabis and not to mention the fact that there are no safe spaces for us to be able to verbalize and vocalize those things, you know.”

The Vagina Cannalogues is purported to be Florida’s first-all female traveling cannabis lecture series, providing a glimpse into how and why cannabis can benefit women. Each “cannalogue” is a look at the feminine experience as it pertains to cannabis use. The gathering is inclusive for all women — including those who identify as LBTQI. The lectures will focus on a broad spectrum of issues, including motherhood, combating stigmas from family, friends, or society at large, domestic violence, marriage, relationships, sex, intimacy, and so much more.

The group wants the gatherings to be a safe and inclusive environment where women feel safe to talk and share (their thoughts and ideas). The panel will be comprised of women from various spectrums of the cannabis world; they are:
