She magazine, the longest-running magazine for GLBT women in South Florida, celebrated its 11th anniversary Thursday, Feb. 11, at a local venue on Wilton Drive.  The event featured DJ Sapphire from Chicago and a performance by Drag It Out.  She has been publishing insightful features, anchoring its unique niche in GLBT publications, since its inception.

The ladies at She have interviewed major figures in the GLBT community and beyond, including Janet Reno, Melissa Etheridge, Indigo Girls, Lea Delaria, Cyndi Lauper,  Lea Delaria and Sandra Bernhard.

They have also produced provocotive features about women in the military, transsexuals, and breast cancer. She is primarily produced by the tight team of Tina Sordelini and Maria Espinal, along with a deicated cadre of contributing writers and columnists.  The current issue features indie music darlings Tegan and Sara, who are slated to perform in South Florida later this month.
