"On Monday March 30th, Pride Fort Lauderdale will host the the first in our Pride Honors series awards, as we celebrate Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner Dean Trantalis in his 2015 reelection, by awarding him with our Medallion Award.
Over the years, Dean has fought and represented the LGBT community as a fierce advocate for equal rights here in Fort Lauderdale.
The event will be open to the public at no charge. Join us from 6-8 pm to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, refreshments, and a silent auction at the Pride Center of Equality Park. All funds raised benefit Greater Fort Lauderdale Pride, Inc., d/b/a Pride Fort Lauderdale.org, a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt group.
Pride Fort Lauderdale. Org will also be announcing several updates for our main event at Holiday Park on October the 10 & 11th, including a partnership with the Fort Lauderdale Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
