With just under two weeks to go until Christmas, the annual Judy Shepherd Toy Drive is in full swing.

It’s the 15th year that the community is collecting toys for the students of Thurgood Elementary School in Lauderhill. Due to the pandemic, an increasing number of families in the area are in need this holiday season.  

The Pride Center and Women with Pride are carrying on the annual toy drive with new, convenient ways to donate.  

The easiest, most user-friendly way is to visit https://bit.ly/3lZ0IeP and scan the QR code. It takes you directly to PayPal to make an online donation. 

You can also pick out a toy for students ages 6-12. The Pride Center has a list on Amazon. Your selection is sent directly to the school. You can find the list at https://a.co/4wNggZ2

The toy drive is in honor of Judy Shepherd, who initiated this toy drive in 2005. She was incredibly active at the Pride Center until her death.
