If you’re looking to make a difference in the life of a homeless pet who really wants a chance to be part of a family, stop by the Humane Society of Broward County and meet Waylon (ID 636017).

While he might be the oldest dog currently at the shelter at 9 years old, he certainly does not act his age. Waylon is calm and sweet, but he does get the zoomies when he goes outside and loves to run and play. He likes tennis balls, is treat-motivated and enjoys going for walks. This fellow, who looks like a boxer mix, is good with people of all ages and other dogs. Can Waylon be part of your family?

When you adopt the adoption fee includes: spaying or neutering, preliminary vaccinations, a microchip, dogs are tested for heartworm, cats are tested for feline leukemia, a bag of Purina One pet food and 14 days of limited health care from VCA Animal Hospitals.

Visit the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale, the adoption kennels open daily at 11 AM. Call 954-989-3977 or www.humanebroward.com for more information.
