Looking to make a difference in the life of a homeless pet? If so, meet marvelous Ping Pong (ID 657676).

She is approximately 10 years old, weighs 38 pounds and is an all-American mutt. She was found abandoned at a local hotel and even though she has a microchip, the chip was never properly registered and no guests at the hotel have come looking for their lost dog. She is gentle, loves attention, wags her tail when you talk to her, and loves to explore. Can this spunky senior go home with you?

To meet a pet at the Humane Society of Broward County please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com (unless you have in the past) and stop by. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale and opens daily at 11 a.m. If you have any questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. Can’t adopt, but want to help?  The dogs at the shelter would really love some delicious treats and durable toys!  Order directly from the shelter’s Amazon wish list or pick up a few things in the Pet Boutique located in the shelter lobby to donate.
