Fun-loving Harry (ID A660131) is an 8-month-old, 36-pound cutie who came from a shelter in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Fiona left the facility without power or water.

He is a social butterfly who enjoys getting lots of attention and treats. He is a bit nervous walking on a leash but will do so with some encouragement. Harry’s brother got adopted already, so we know he is good with other dogs that have a similar energy level. As far as what breed Harry is…only a DNA test could provide that answer. We know he is mixed with love and kisses.

To meet a pet, visit to complete a pre-adoption application and then stop by the Humane Society of Broward County located at 2070 Griffin Road, a block west of I95 in Fort Lauderdale. The shelter opens daily at 11 AM and if you have any questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6. If you want to help but can’t adopt, consider making a donation online or select an item from our Amazon wish list.
