Beautiful Fiona (ID 660794) would love to find a home in 2022…can you make her wish come true?

She is one of the dogs that was brought to the Humane Society of Broward County from a shelter on the west coast that suffered damages after Hurricane Ian. Sadly, Fiona had been there since February. That means Fiona has spent nearly an entire year waiting for someone to give her a chance and we really don’t understand why. This 5-year-old gal knows sit, paw and lay down. She enjoys going for walks and would love a big comfy bed or blanket to sleep on. At 72 pounds she is a bigger gal and will need someone who is strong to walk her. Thanks to our friends at J.R. Dunn Jewelers, they have kindly sponsored Fiona’s adoption fee. She is just one of a few select dogs that are available for a two-week holiday sleepover at your house to see if she is a good fit for your family. You would need to take her home by Friday for the two-week trial period.

To meet a pet at the Humane Society of Broward County, complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and then stop by. The shelter opens daily at 11 a.m. and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale – a block west of I95.
