His name is Damian, but don’t let the name fool you. Damian is everything but.

His prior owner rescued him as a puppy when he was 2 months old, loved him like he was her child; taught him to sit, lay down, and stay. The only thing he needs to learn is to not jump on you.

His owner was also but a young adult, trying so hard to make a life for herself and her mother has insisted that she move out and she could afford to live anywhere that would allow her to take Damian, and she is devastated. Not to mention, she loves him so much that she wants more for him than she knows she can provide for him.  

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A FULLY ENCLOSED YARD WITH PRIVACY FENCE (NO CHAIN LINK.) Damian is high-energy. 

My promise to her is to make sure we find him the best forever home with a family who will love him for the rest of his life and continue to let us know how wonderful he is doing so she can be content that she did the right thing for him. He is a well-behaved, sweet, playful dog. He has a lot of energy. If you have cats, he is not the dog for you. He is a very loyal dog and highly intelligent and will be your best friend. Will you be his?

He weighs about 60 pounds and is still just a puppy reaching 24 months, so you will have many more years together.  

He will do potty outside as long as you take him out. He walks well on a leash.  As for other dogs, as I say, dogs are like people, we like some, and we might particularly not like others. He has been pretty socialized, so as long as you have a dog who will be nice to him, with proper introduction, they should be able to get along. He had been spoiled with a raw food diet, and we request that we find a family who will continue to make sure that he continues to eat only the best.

I am looking to find the perfect family that will give him as much as I would for the rest of his life. He is the friend you are looking for and will love you forever. Will you love him too?

All shots are up to date and he will be adopted with a certificate of clean health. He is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped (AND MICROCHIP WILL STAY IN MY NAME INDEFINITELY. WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED), heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick prevention and if u adopt him you MUST keep him on both and up to date with yearly check-ups and vaccines.

IF YOU ADOPT DAMIAN WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH TWO COMPLIMENTARY VISITS BY A QUALIFIED TRAINER IN YOUR AREA TO ASSIST. A phone interview, home check, vet ref and rehoming fee will be required to adopt Damian.
