Big, handsome 2-year-old Brutus (ID 661792) wants to be your new pal for 2023 and beyond.

When Brutus arrived at the Humane Society of Broward County he was in rough shape. He was thin and had a big chain around his neck and scars on his head and face. It appeared someone had abandoned him and based on how he looked, the staff knew he did not have the best life previously. Here at the shelter, he loves getting lots of attention and walks, but it's not the same as having a family to love. He enjoys treats and likes to run around the play area. If you have a dog at home a meet and greet would be recommended to make sure the dogs get along. Thanks to Dolly's Dream his adoption fee is sponsored, and he gets to go home with goodies to help him settle in.

To meet Brutus or any other pet, complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and if you have questions call the Humane Society of Broward County’s adoption department at 954-989-3977 ext. 6.  The shelter is open daily at 11 a.m. and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale.  The vaccine clinic is open Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 11:40 and 1:00 – 5:30.
