Miami Beach Pride is looking for committed partners to add to their LGBTQ+ Legacy Couples program.

Registration is now open through March 25 for LGBT couples in committed relationships of 10 years or longer who are interested in participating in the 14th edition of the Miami Beach Pride Parade along Ocean Drive on Sunday, April 10, commencing at noon.

Miami Beach Pride’s Legacy Couples program, established during the first Pride parade in 2009, recognizes same-sex couples who have been in committed relationships for 10 years or longer. There are currently 88 couples in the program spanning Baby Boomers, GEN X and Millennials.

A Miami Beach Pride spokesperson said in a statement: “While all of us who are openly a part of the LGBTQ+ community are living and writing the history of our movement, it’s oftentimes the hidden stories of our queer elders who were at the forefront of the fight for equality and fairness who paved the way for our community to live as freely as we do today.”
