Shhhhhhhh….don’t tell anyone! Haus Lounge has won Best Kept Secret in Palm Beach County. Guess it won’t be a secret much longer. The eatery and gift store also won for Best Restaurant.
“I’d like to thank all of my supporters of not only The Haus Lounge, but also those who have supported me throughout my life and journey so far,” Owner Adam Sessa said.
Their most popular items include the Haus Coffee selections and the all day breakfast options.
Sessa, a local realtor, had big shoes to fill when he bought Studio 205, the only LGBT store in Palm Beach County, from Lake Worth Beach City Commissioner Andy Amoroso. Sessa immediately changed the name to Haus Lounge and then the pandemic ground his new business to a halt.
“We will continue to strive on making The Haus Lounge the queer inclusive destination of the Palm Beaches as we grow our family, locations, and most importantly; our Haus,” he said.
Sessa said that he was looking for a place to create a welcoming environment for people from the many diverse communities in South Florida to come together around common interests like art and music and food.
In just a few months Sessa will be moving to a new location in downtown Lake Worth Beach on J Street.
“Anyone within the LGBTQIA+ CommUNITY, minorities, people of color, those with disabilities/disorders, and anyone on the spectrum; we see you, we hear you, but most importantly; we support you,” he said.
