You might say this year’s Florida AIDS Walk will be a cake walk.

Multi-platinum selling band DNCE is the featured act for the 2017 Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival, Mar. 19 in Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Led by frontman Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers fame, DNCE is perhaps best known for their smash hit “Cake By The Ocean.” The band won for Best New Artist at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

Rolling Stone called “Cake By The Ocean” “giddy irreverence,” adding the band’s strength is that they do not take themselves too seriously.

Over the years, the walk and music festival has raised millions for HIV/AIDS services in Florida. In 2015, it was estimated that more than 171,000 Floridians were living with the virus.
