The 13th Street Craft Beer & Wine Festival will showcase more than 20 of the best local craft brewers. Attendees can also sip their favorite vino at five wine stations. If you’re more of a teetotaler, there’s a car show and craft vendors to enjoy. There will also be 10 food trucks.
“There are more than 40 local vendors ranging from artists, fudge makers and pet rescues,” Barry Curtis of the President of Central City Alliance said. “The cars this year are exotic Lamborghinis and what you might call muscle cars.”
Speaking of cars, NE 13th Street will close to vehicle traffic from NE 4th Avenue all the way to NE 9th Avenue. General admission is free. Attendees will need a wristband to taste beer and wine. A wristband purchase will also allow to you vote on ballots to choose the best beer, wine, and cars of the day.
Wrist bands are $45 when purchased on the day of the event. $75 VIP tent tickets are also available. They include food, alcohol, wine, and beer samples.
Central City Alliance is a neighborhood organization of residents and businesses. The boundaries are north of Sunrise Avenue to Wilton Manors, US 1 on the east to Powerline Road on the west.
“We put on the Craft Beer and Wine Festival to promote the local neighborhood and businesses here,” Curtis said.
