Best Happy Hour: Scandals Saloon
3073 NE 6th Ave, Wilton Manors, FL 33334
Scandals Saloon describes itself as a “kick-up-your-heels down-home country-Western venue with great drink prices and the friendliest bar staff around,” and that must be true since it won Best Happy Hour in 2022.
Its happy hour includes events every day of the week such as 12 noon until 8 p.m. daily, 12 noon until closing every Sunday, free pool tables every day, and more.
“This place has it all! I usually go on Sunday for the always-packed tea dance, but recently I went on a Thursday night and had a great time. They were teaching people to two-step and line-dance in the front bar, while others played poker in the back. The staff is awesome, the drinks are cheap and stiff (like some people I know), and the crowd is very diverse,” wrote a reviewer.

Best Bar Food / Bang for Your Buck: Pub on the Drive
2283 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors
Bar food has come a long way since the days of microwaved pizza and pickled eggs. A few years ago the bar decided to revamp its menu and it continues to fine-tune it.
While I wouldn’t go so far as to call it a gastro-pub, it does serve up some solid pub fare, befitting the name. You’re not going to find anything too fancy, although you can get a good skirt steak, for club sandwiches and loaded tater-tots you can’t go wrong.
And, how good is its burger? It was runner-up to Rosie’s for Best Burger this year. Besides good food, the Pub also took home the prize for Best Bang for Your Buck. When the biggest thing in your pants isn’t your wallet, you’re looking to get good value for your buck. That doesn’t mean cheap food, it means good value. The Pub’s bar food menu wins this category, being both well-made and well-priced. The runner-up in this new category is another landmark on the drive, Courtyard Café, where the sassy servers and classic diner fare fill you up without emptying your bank account.
Runner-up for Best Bar Food: Spencer’s Corner Bar

The actual winner of this category has “declined” this distinction three years in a row so instead we’re lifting up the runner-up because our local businesses deserve some love! More importantly our ladies in the LBT community need to know where their safe spaces are in our predominately gay male-centered area.
So we’re spotlighting our runner-up LIT in Wilton Manors.
