(Column) Sure, a house filled with family and friends for Thanksgiving dinner sounds wonderful, but then there’s the prep and clean-up. If you prefer someone else do all the work, check out some of these places offering special dinners on Thanksgiving:

3030 Ocean, in the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, is offering a three-course prix fixe Thanksgiving menu for $65 per person (excluding tax and gratuity). The first course includes your choice of roasted pumpkin soup or green salad. The second course is served family style and includes turkey breast and leg with mushroom dressing, green beans with onions, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry-orange sauce and turkey gravy. Dessert is a pumpkin tart.

Burlock Coast, at The Ritz-Carlton, offers a few options. On Thanksgiving guests can enjoy an extravagant food buffet from carving stations and cold tapas to a seafood display, caviar station and a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Available from noon to 8 p.m., the feast is priced at $129 per person and includes a bottomless drinks package featuring BC Brew, Rum Punch, Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Those who want to indulge from the comfort of their own home can pre-order Thanksgiving dinner to go. For $369, plus tax, the family dinner package will serve 6-8 people. Menu includes herb-rubbed whole roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry sauces; homemade traditional bread stuffing; creamy potato puree; green bean casserole; roasted sweet potatoes; buttermilk biscuits and pecan pie. Orders must be placed by Monday, Nov. 19. Call 954-302-6430 to order. One of the best things about Thanksgiving are the leftover dishes. Burlock Coast’s executive chef Paula DaSilva has created a menu, available Friday, Nov. 23 during breakfast which features items such as; pumpkin spice latte, sweet potato pancakes and turkey Eggs Benedict.

Council Oak at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel will be offering its regular menu as well as a prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner for $55 per person. The three-course special menu includes: butternut squash soup with smoked chicken and apple sausage, spiced pecan; roasted turkey served with brussels sprouts, buttermilk mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry and orange compote; and a dessert choice of apple crostada with maple ice cream or pumpkin creme brulee with roasted nuts.

Etaru, best known for its robatayaki cuisine, will offer a specialty brunch on Thanksgiving Day from noon until 6 p.m. at its Hallandale and Las Olas locations. The brunch will include the classic side dish offerings and a turkey carving station. Priced at $75 per person, brunch includes a welcome cocktail, bottomless pours of Whispering Angel Rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Primitivo Sasseo or for an additional $20 Louis Roederer NV champagne. Guests will also enjoy an array of hot and cold starters on the robata counter, choice of one main course and a decadent dessert presentation.

Celebrate Thanksgiving with unobstructed ocean views and authentic Mexican fare at Lona Cocina y Tequileria in the Westin Fort Lauderdale. The chef’s tasting menu offers a complete Thanksgiving dinner with a Mexican twist for $55 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) from 6 –11 p.m. Among the fusion dishes are grilled vegetable salad, chili corn bread, adobo roasted lamb tamale, turkey two ways – charred turkey thighs and chorizo stuffed turkey breast and pork pernil, chipotle mashed potatoes with oaxaca cheese and other dishes.

III Forks Prime Steakhouse will serve a four-course prix fixe meal at its Hallandale and West Palm locations. The meal includes tomato soup, III Forks signature salad (Granny Smith apples, Wisconsin blue cheese, toasted pecans and field greens) and a choice of entrée: spice rubbed holiday turkey with gravy, fresh cranberry-orange relish, sausage sage cornbread dressing, creamed potatoes, maple-glazed yams and roasted autumn vegetables; beef tenderloin with whipped potatoes, creamed corn and roasted autumn vegetables; or maple glazed Atlantic salmon with coconut infused jasmine rice and roasted autumn vegetables. Dessert options include pumpkin or chocolate pecan pie and pecan bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. In addition, more than 25 items are available a la carte. Dinner is $49.

A very Las Olas Thanksgiving awaits at these favorites along Fort Lauderdale’s “Miracle Mile” of shopping and dining. Chima adds roast turkey and the traditional sides to its Brazilian steakhouse fare. Johnny V offers not only turkey and prime rib to the menu, but also grilled mahi with cranberry chutney and lobster pan gravy. The Royal Pig turns its attention from pork to a traditional Thanksgiving feast with an Italian twist. Timpano offers a three-course feast for $35 a person. Tuscan Grill presents a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, complete with a choice of apple or pumpkin pie for $25 a person and American Social serves up a complete Thanksgiving dinner, starting with corn chowder and even sends you home with a bag of leftovers (turkey sliders, mashed potatoes, stuffing and a pumpkin cookie) for $35 a person.
