Dear SFGN:

I read your story about the sex offender at the Pride Center. As a local resident, a supporter of the gay community, a survivor of child sexual abuse, and a human being, I am both outraged and disgusted that this man was allowed to work at the Pride Center.

But I'm really writing to congratulate you on your story. It is well-written, comprehensive, and balanced. I don't think you get to write these kinds of investigative stories very often, and they're not easy. I know from experience that they're challenging, but you stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park.

The result is a story that could right a wrong, save vulnerable people from a dangerous situation, and make our little corner of the world a better place. No writer can ever hope for more than that kind of home run.
