There recent passing of the law that allows for same sex marriages in Florida will for sure positively impact our local economy. Businesses, both gay and allied, are eager to offer their products and / or services to those who will soon join their loved ones in matrimony. Many wedding preparations are on their way and businesses are cruising full steam ahead in aiding these couples in their journey.
The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) is also Cruising for Business as it presents its Spotlight Mega-Mixer Networker on Wednesday, February 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on board the spectacular "Lady Windridge" yacht. Cocktails will be served courtesy of Bacardi & Grey Goose Vodka. Complimentary wine and food will also be served courtesy of our hosts Chamber Corporate member Windridge Yacht Charters.
At this fun and social networker over 200 Chamber members, guests and the community at large will lever of the "Business Cards Bulletin Board" and Chamber Ambassadors who will be present to answer inquiries and make introductions / connections. There will be a free drawing of great prizes courtesy of various chamber members, spinning by DJ Vertigo, and photographs taken by Juan Saco Mironoff of Miami-Gay-Blog.com.
The yacht will be docked behind the Hard Rock Cafe at Bayside Marketplace at 301 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami. From 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. the yacht will remain in dock and at 8 p.m. it will embark on a short cruise returning to the dock at 9 p.m. Admission for Chamber Members is only $10 and for Non-Chamber Members is $20.
