Beautiful Key West will be the backdrop for the upcoming 2010 Key West Food and Wine Festival scheduled Thursday through Sunday, January 28th to 31st.  The Festival celebrates our tropical paradise’s distinctive restaurants, fresh seafood, funky atmosphere, stunning sunsets and gorgeous weather.

 

Festival-goers will enjoy events ranging from a “kick off your flip-flops” welcome party, a wacky afternoon of bowling with coconuts, a traditional Key West shrimp boil, a cigar dinner celebrating our island’s Cuban heritage, a laid-back bike tour and tropical ice cream tasting, a tapas tasting from a James Beard House honored restaurant, a “seafood seduction dinner, an outdoor wine market and much more.   Food and wine fanciers will find a mile of temptations at Duval UNCORKED, a stroll along Key West’s Duval Street that stretches from the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean.    Restaurants, bars, galleries and boutiques will welcome revelers with cuisine tastings, samples of fine wine and tasty shopping experiences.  All of this will be capped off by a gastronomical adventure at our Sunset Grand Tasting featuring a selection of world famous local seafood, great wines, a sexy and sophisticated burlesque performance and a spectacular sunset.
