Actor Donald Glover mentioned “Star Wars” character Lando Calrissian is pansexual during a radio interview.

“Solo” co-writer Jonathan Kasdan had previously said there is a fluidity to the sexuality of the character, according to the A.V. Club. Glover said that his thoughts on the character were similar to Kasden in an interview with SiriusXM.

“How can you not be pansexual in space,” Glover said. “There’s so many things to have sex with.”

Glover said that the fact that there are so many types of people in the “Star Wars” universe that it wouldn’t make sense to limit a character to just humans that are boys or girls. He said that you can sex with a thing that’s “literally just a blob.”

Glover said he was also told by Billy Dee Williams, who previously played Calrissian, said that the character needed to be charming and “eclectic.”

Previously, the character's sexuality was not as clear, according to A.V. Club. In the original trilogy of “Star Wars” movies, Calrissian was portrayed as charming, but his sexuality was never mentioned.
