South Florida Surf, a semi-professional soccer team from Port St. Lucie, will donate half of the proceeds from their home game towards the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
The game will take place on June 25 at the South County Regional Stadium in Port St. Lucie. The team will play against the Floridians FC. Kickoff begins at 7 p.m.
Players will wear "special tribute jerseys" according to their Facebook post. After, the jerseys will be auctioned off starting at $49 in honor of the victims.
The team will also donate $10 per season pass to the OneOrlando Fund and will take other donations at the game.
"We want to do our part in helping Orlando heal," Eric Arbuzow, general manager of South Florida Surf, told SFGN.
